FAQs - During the event
How long will the event last?

The Body Combat Marathon starts at 10am and will finish at 1pm. Three hours is a long time, so ensure that you pace yourself and drink plenty of water little and often.

Will there be any breaks?

Body Combat is choreographed to tracks of music. Tracks vary in length, but average around 5 minutes. Between each track there will be a brief pause so you can grab some water and your towel if required. Don't worry if you're not back in place at the very beginning of the next track, join back in when you are ready. Please also take a break at any time, for as long as you need.

Are there toilets I can use?

Yes, the toilets are in the changing rooms, located at the bottom of the stairs that are facing the doors of the main sports hall.

Who can I talk to if I have a problem during the event?

The volunteers who checked you in will be staying in the hall during the event, and will be your first point of call for any problems. They can contact the Sports Centre staff if you require further assistance.

Will there be first-aiders at the event?

Yes, the sports centre has trained first-aiders who can be called if you require them.

Will photographs be taken during the event?

Yes, there will be photographers taking pictures during the event. The pictures will then be put on our Facebook page for you to see and tag yourself in, if you want to. If you do not wish to be in any of the photographs, please make that clear to the volunteers when you check-in on the day.
