What is BODYCOMBAT?

BODY COMBAT is an empowering cardio workout inspired by martial arts. This high-energy workout is totally non-contact and there are no really complex moves to master.

What moves are done in BODYCOMBAT?

BODY COMBAT includes a variety of martial arts inspired moves, mainly punching and kicking. There are also cardio like running on the spot. If any of the moves are difficult for you the instructors do provide lower options, and you can obviously take a rest whenever you need to and join back in when you are ready. It is totally fine to miss parts out!

Which martial arts inspire BODYCOMBAT?

BODY COMBAT moves draw inspiration from Karate, Taekwondo, Boxing, Muay Thai, Capoeira and Kung Fu.

Can I handle BODYCOMBAT?

Yes! BODYCOMBAT is an interval based program, so some tracks are going to feel tougher than others. Different tracks focus on different body parts. If you find a particular track hard, don't worry, the next one will be different!

Do I need martial arts experience?

Not at all! BODYCOMBAT caters for all ages and abilities. The instructors show simpler and lower impact options for every move, so you can progress at your own pace.

How fit do I need to be?

BODY COMBAT is for everyone with moderate fitness levels. If you are used to doing any form of exercise, be it other fitness classes, jogging, walking, dancing, swimming, etc, then you will be able to give BODYCOMBAT a go!

Is BODYCOMBAT fun?

Yes! BODYCOMBAT is a lot of fun, it's empowering and exhilarating. Exercising in a large group will sweep you up in a wave of energy, you'll have a blast and feel like a champ!

How will I feel after the BODYCOMBAT marathon?

Exhilarated, empowered and proud! Also probably quite tired and sweaty. Please take a bit of time to cool down and stretch, and you may feel a bit tired and achy the next day, so take it easy.
